"Dead time", the new work by Iratxe Jaio and Klaas van Gorkum, related to the Barakaldo Zombiewalk, will be presented in Museum Artium in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The artists received awards in 2008 in the twentieth edition of the biannual Gure Artea prize, together with Asier Mendizabal (Ordizia, 1973) and Xabier Salaberria (Donostia-San Sebastián, 1969). The exhibition Gure Artea XX, curated by Miren Jaio, shows works by these artists developed over the course of the last year.

Curated by Haizea Barcenilla, this exhibition produced by the Cervantes Institute in Stockholm presents the works of Ibon Aranberri, Iratxe Jaio & Klaas van Gorkum, Juan Pérez, Señora Polaroiska and Laurita Siles, as well as the publications of Belleza Infinita. The works in the exhibition approach different ideas of identity within the context of the social and political reality of Basque Country, observing traditions and origins from a contemporary and critical point of view.
